We board motorbikes at 7 a.m. and ride for about two hours to the Virachey National Park’s edge from Banlung City. We cross a ferry boat on the route, go through a communal forest, and pass some homes of indigenous people who practice agriculture. If you’re interested, we can also search for a tarantula before our trek begins.
At the beginning, we trek across the river through dense jungle, which is also a bit difficult up and down hills. So many giant trees and bamboo forests are waiting for you to take photos, and sometimes we can see monkeys on this activity’s trek. Pending 3 hours of walking to the rapid stream where we can have a little swim and rinse off our dirt. After lunch and relaxing, we have to trek back to our motorbikes for 3 hours as a loop on a different trail! This trek is completed and is supposed to be back in Banlung City at 6 p.m.

This jungle trek showed off natural resources, an over 40-meter-high waterfall, and engaged with the indigenous community of the “Kachok” hill tribe, which only has two villages in the whole of Cambodia!
Departure at 8:30 a.m. by motorbikes, Tuk Tuk, or car to the Kachohn village near the Sesan river. Get off our vehicle and go on a small boat to relax for an hour with lovely river landscapes and villages, stopping at the edge of the jungle. Our trek starts. At the beginning, we will meet our expert jungle ranger. We will trek through the jungle for 3 hours directly to the high waterfall to have lunch and swim there. After the meal, we trek 2-3hours back, but as a loop, returning to the same boat. The boat driver will bring us to a stop at the “Kospeak village” so that our English-speaking guide can explain to you about the culture of the village and their interesting ancient cemetery. After we finish the tour, we will be back in Banlung City at 5 p.m.
